Deliver compassionate care as a Registered Practical Nurse in the General Medicine Unit at Osler. You will provide quality nursing care while working collaboratively within an inter-professional team.
The ideal candidate for this role has experience in acute medicine, particularly with geriatric patients. You'll perform secure nursing practices encompassing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. This role requires a commitment to infection control and emergency response while fostering patient-centered, culturally sensitive care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide quality patient-focused nursing care

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum two years of acute medicine experience preferred
• Recent experience with geriatric patients preferred
• BCLS and medication administration certification required
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
