As part of the Housing and Client Services team, the Activity & Wellness Coordinator (AWC) plays a pivotal role in fostering community through activities tailored for seniors. This full-time role, requiring 1-2 years of relevant experience, demands strong communication skills and collaboration with both residents and volunteers. You will help develop, implement, and evaluate leisure programs that enhance residents' quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate engagement activities and wellness programs
• Foster relationships with residents, volunteers, and community groups
• Evaluate wellness needs to drive program development
• Promote activities reflecting diverse dimensions of wellness
• Manage site-specific duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in recreation or related field
• 1-2 years’ relevant experience in program planning
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Valid driver's license and vehicle required
