This is a full-time, permanent positionstarting in September 2026 (Time off over Christmas, March Break and the Summer).
Salary range for this position: $53,000- $56,000

The Position:
This position provides an opportunity to gain experience in theclassroom, be mentored by outstanding faculty, participate in ongoingprofessional development, and oversee the running of the Junior School’s Beforeand After School Care program (Gator Care). The successful candidate will provide classroom support for students inJK – Grade 6, as well as supply coverage for faculty. As an experiencedchildcare provider, you will also supervise and support students in the beforeand/or after-care program by organizing and leading developmentally appropriateand engaging activities.
Specific Accountabilities:
Workwith fellow Gator Care supervisors to develop and deliver engaging, enrichingprogramming for the Junior School Before and After Care Program.
Providecoverage to Junior School classes during teacher absences.
Supervisestudents and provide coverage during recess and lunch periods.
SupportKindergarten students in specialist classes, as required.
Activelyparticipate in and contribute to relevant professional developmentopportunities.
Fosterand maintain a safe, nurturing environment for all students.
Maintainaccurate records for billing;
ManageUpper School students who work in aftercare program;
Otherduties as assigned;
Availableto work during one of the following shifts: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:00PM, or 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
PostSecondary Degree in Early Childhood Education, Educational Assistant, or aBachelor of Education (asset);
Member of theOntario College of Teachers (asset);
Experienceworking with students from age 4 – 12;
Qualified,organized, approachable, positive, flexible, creative, dependable;
Strong oraland written communication skills.
