Emcon Services Inc. is searching for a skilled Seasonal Maintenance Worker/Operator at their Kenora, Ontario location. This role offers full-time hours dedicated to efficient highway management and maintenance.
Reporting directly to the Road Superintendent, you will be responsible for a variety of maintenance activities, from plowing to highway surface upkeep. Applicants should have a strong safety record and highway maintenance experience, along with a valid DZ license. The role requires shift work and physical capability to handle essential maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute summer and winter highway maintenance tasks
• Oversee traffic control and emergency responses
• Assist with vehicle and equipment upkeep
• Engage in highway patrolling and shoulder maintenance
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations
Requirements:
• Valid DZ license required, AZ preferred
• Experience in highway maintenance field
• Robust customer service skills with the public
• Reliable and punctual for scheduled shifts
• Physically capable of demanding maintenance tasks
