Join Animal Emergency Clinic of Fraser Valley as a Registered Veterinary Technician specializing in surgery. This full time role in Langley, British Columbia requires expertise in anesthesia and surgical procedures.

As a Surgical RVT at AECFV, you will work with a collaborative team to ensure excellent patient care throughout surgical procedures. This position includes four 10-hour shifts with potential occasional ER duties. You will conduct pre-surgical assessments, administer anesthesia, provide postoperative care, and help mentor practicum students while maintaining a positive hospital culture.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct pre-surgical examinations and obtain patient histories
• Monitor patient responses and administer anesthesia




• Insert and manage IV catheters for fluid therapy
• Assist with tissue handling during surgeries
• Document all surgical procedures and care accurately

Requirements:
• Registered Veterinary Technologist with surgical experience
• Proficient in anesthesia administration and monitoring
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Physically capable of meeting job demands
