NVIT anticipates the need for a Term Instructor to teach a course within the Bachelor of Social Work program in Vanderhoof, BC and invites applications from qualified candidates. This course delivery will be an online format.

Qualifications

- Possess Master of Social Work Degree (MSW).
- Minimum of two years teaching experience at a college or university level.




- Experience in classroom teaching and learning practices with Indigenous adult learners.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Indigenous social work theory and practice.
- Strong team player with excellent human relation skills – faculty members are expected to contribute positively to the life of the school and community.
- Ability to develop robust connections to Indigenous social service agencies and communities.
- Applicants must be willing to teach in a hybrid model. Face to Face in class for students wishing to attend class in person and online synchronist for students not on campus.
- Applicants must be familiar with Moodle, Teams and Outlook operating platforms.
