LEARNING SERVICES TEACHER: THE ADVOCATE

- Champion an inclusive environment that recognizes every student as an image-bearer of God with unique potential.
- Spearhead early intervention strategies and cultivate social-emotional learning designed specifically to foster confidence and resilience in kindergarten learners.
- Develop and monitor strength-based IEPs that prioritize student-led goals and personal independence.
- Lead school-based teams in implementing UDL, RTI, and multi-tiered systems of support.
- Design data-driven interventions and classroom-based services to meet responsive learning targets.




- Build collaborative relationships with parents, staff, and external consultants to ensure student belonging.
- Coordinate Educational Assistants and Youth Care Workers to provide cohesive support across all grade levels.
- This role would work specifically with our Kindergarten learners.

Qualifications

- Training and successful classroom teaching experience (5+ years preferred).
- Valid BC teaching certificate or independent schools teaching certification.
- Ideal candidate will have training and/or certificate and/or Master’s degree in Special Education, or relevant experience.
- Evidence of a strong sense of purpose and identity built on Biblical principles and participation in a local Christian church community.

- Annual salary range of ($73,150 - 112,660 per 1.0 FTE)
