Founded in 2011, Broadhead Brewery is an established, recognized and trusted brand within Ottawa’s vibrant craft brewing community dedicated to producing creative and approachable beers with an uncompromising commitment to quality. Over the past seven years, we’ve moved into a new state-of-the-art facility, undergone a complete brand refresh and enhanced our portfolio while extending our reach throughout the province of Ontario. We’re on the hunt for a driven, passionate, and talented professional to manage an existing customer base and expand our footprint in the Ottawa region.

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Events, the Territory Manager is responsible for driving sales across all channels including Licensee, LCBO, Beer Store and Grocery within a defined territory. This is a dynamic and challenging position that demands superior communication and organizational skills, a consultative selling approach and an entrepreneurial mindset. You are a self-starter with a winning attitude and a passion for craft beer that brings a demonstrated ability to consistently deliver results, a solid understanding of the CPG space, and experience building and fostering meaningful business partnerships.

This is a full-time position requiring a flexible schedule with the ability to stand for 8 hours at a time and lift up to 60 lbs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Deliver territory volume and distribution targets by total territory, sales channel, and brand within a defined geographic region.
- Ownership of territory planning, territory budget, customer development strategy and promotional evaluation (with approval of Director of Sales & Events).
- Execute consumer programming and brand building initiatives as defined by the greater commercial plan.
- Build strong, value driven business relationships with key customers and consumer groups.
- Identify and leverage new business opportunities while attaining existing customer service level expectations.




- Complete administrative functions.
- Plan, activate and execute local consumer events with the support of the Director of Sales & Events.
- Proudly and passionately represent Broadhead Brewing Co and our products, maintaining the reputation and integrity of the brewery at all times.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Passion for craft beer is essential.
- 2 years B2B sales experience in the CPG industry required, prior craft beer experience considered an asset.
- Superior selling skills (probing, matching solutions, negotiation and closing).
- Sound business acumen including budget management experience and an analytical mindset.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high executional standards.
- Strong personal affect including the ability to influence and build meaningful relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.
- Effective communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract and own a reliable vehicle.

COMPENSATION

- Salaried position; remuneration based on experience.
- Quarterly bonus program.
