Kitchen Helper – Thai Restaurant Join our vibrant Thai restaurant team as a Kitchen Helper, where your enthusiasm, reliability, and attention to detail will help us prepare authentic and delicious Thai dishes. In this fast-paced role, you’ll support our kitchen team with food preparation, maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety, and help ensure smooth and timely service. This paid position is a great opportunity to gain valuable restaurant and food-service experience while working in a welcoming, team-oriented workplace surrounded by the rich flavors and traditions of Thai cuisine.

Duties

Assist with preparing ingredients for Thai dishes by washing, peeling, chopping, portioning, and organizing food items Support chefs and kitchen staff with cooking and food preparation as directed Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment Follow proper food handling, storage, sanitation, and hygiene procedures Assist with plating and preparing dishes to meet the restaurant’s presentation and quality standards Help with receiving, organizing, and restocking kitchen supplies and ingredients Monitor inventory and inform supervisors when supplies are running low Assist with dishwashing, garbage disposal,



and general kitchen cleaning as required Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for staff and guests Work efficiently as part of a team during busy lunch, dinner, and service periods Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food-service environment is an asset but not required Willingness to learn Thai food preparation methods, kitchen procedures, and restaurant standards Basic knowledge of food handling, hygiene, and safety practices Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting moderate loads and repetitive movements Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail Commitment to cleanliness, food quality, and customer satisfaction Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Join our team and be part of a welcoming kitchen dedicated to serving authentic, flavorful Thai cuisine.
