Contribute to impactful IT solutions as a Programmer and Web Developer at Okanagan College. You'll develop and maintain applications and websites that enhance user experience and learning accessibility.

This on-call position supports Okanagan College's mission by developing web applications and integrations using modern programming languages and frameworks. As part of a collaborative IT team, you will tackle user requirements and assist with site implementation and documentation. Your technical skills in web and mobile development will ensure adherence to UI/UX design principles and accessibility standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop websites using CMS and up-to-date web languages
• Maintain and support dynamic, database-driven applications




• Collaborate with IT Services for operational support
• Create documentation and assist with project implementation
• Provide training and technical support for departments

Requirements:
• University degree in computer science or related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
• Proficient in JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and modern frameworks
• Experience with Drupal or similar CMS preferred
• Knowledge of SQL and API integrations
