We are hiring an Afternoon Production Associate at our Sofina plant in Belleville, ON.
What do we offer:
Shift Start: 12.: 30pm
Start rate: $18.50
Afternoon Premium
Eligible for benefits after probation
Eligible for Pension Plan after 12 months of employment
Key Accountabilities:
Tye and form stuffed products
Assemble and disassemble machines as needed
Retrieve supplies necessary for production
Accurately weigh products and record weights
Hang products for cooking
Conduct inspections of products during production
Deliver meat from the cooler to the stuffing table
Accurately weigh injected ham using the provided scales
Add spices according to work order specifications
Operate tote tilters as necessary
Weight carts and record dumping meat into the hopper
Requirements:
Good English communication skills (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently
Experience in a food processing environment is an asset
Attention to Detail
Willingness to learn current skills
