This role is key in supporting residents' nutritional needs in a long-term care setting. As a Registered Dietitian, you'll conduct assessments, evaluate dietary intakes, and educate families and team members. The position emphasizes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure tailored dietary plans for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete nutritional assessments for all new admissions
• Monitor residents identified as High Nutritional Priority
• Evaluate dietary intake and conduct Food Intake Studies
• Inform and educate on nutritional care to families




• Document and monitor effectiveness of nutrition interventions
Requirements:
• Registered Dietitian in positive standing with College of Dietitians of Ontario
• Bilingual in English and French
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in long-term care
• Knowledge of InterRAI and health authority regulations
• Strong organizational and communication skills
