Explains complex Math and Science concepts clearly and patiently Has strong knowledge of Grades 9–12 Math Communicates confidently and professionally Builds rapport easily and makes students feel comfortable asking questions Understands that encouragement and mindset matter just as much as marks You enjoy seeing the "lightbulb moment" — and you know how to guide students there. Required Availability
Monday–Thursday: 3:30 PM – 8:00 PM Saturday: 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM A consistent weekly schedule is required. Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field Fourth-year university students with strong tutoring experience welcome OCT certification is an asset Experience & Skills
Experience tutoring or teaching high school Math and Science Strong proficiency in senior-level Biology and Chemistry Comfortable guiding up to 3 students at a time Strong interpersonal skills and natural leadership presence As An Interactive Coach, You Will
Work one-on-one and in small groups (up to 3 students) Use our structured, pre-designed curriculum (no lesson planning required) Help students prepare for tests, exams, and post-secondary expectations Provide feedback and encouragement after each session Create a calm, motivating environment where students feel safe to learn Why Join Our Team?
