Medavie Health Services West is seeking an Advanced Care Paramedic to provide exceptional patient care and leadership. This temporary role involves emergency response and communication duties while ensuring patient safety.

As an Advanced Care Paramedic, you’ll be responsible for immediate treatment and transportation of patients, maintaining readiness of ambulance vehicles, and documenting patient care accurately. Working alongside Primary Care Paramedics and EMTs, you’ll showcase your leadership in emergency situations, so a high level of professionalism is expected.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide immediate patient treatment and transport services
• Safely operate and maintain ambulance vehicles
• Document patient assessments and care promptly




• Collaborate with external agencies for effective patient outcomes
• Participate actively in the MHS Quality Assurance Program

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
• Alberta Operators License class 1, 2 or 4
• Current paramedic registration with qualifications
• Robust communication skills and conflict management
• Ability to work in hazardous environments
