This entry-level role supports day-to-day laboratory operations in a regulated manufacturing environment. You’ll assist with routine testing, sample handling, equipment operation, and documentation under established procedures. It’s a solid junior lab job for someone who wants real bench time and stable work rather than busywork.
Responsibilities: Perform routine laboratory tests under supervision;
Prepare samples, reagents, and materials;
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment according to SOPs;
Document all work accurately in electronic and paper records;
Assist with receiving, storing, and tracking raw materials;
Follow safety, quality, and cleanliness requirements;
Support senior staff in production and quality-control workflows.
Required Qualifications Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field;
Or equivalent technical training with at least 1 year of lab experience;
Familiarity with basic laboratory practices and measurement techniques;
Ability to follow written procedures with consistency;
Strong attention to detail and reliable work habits;
Basic computer proficiency (LIMS experience is a bonus).
Preferred Qualifications (aren’t mandatory but they help):
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline;
Experience in a GMP, ISO, or similarly regulated setting;
Exposure to analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, spectroscopy, etc.).
Compensation & Schedule Pay range : $24-28 per hour, depending on experience;
Employment type : Full-time, hourly;
Schedule : In office, standard weekday shifts with occasional flexibility during production cycles.
