This role requires at least five years of relevant experience in electrical design within the oil and gas industry. You will need to perform engineering analyses, prepare schematics, and be well-versed with industry regulations and technical discussions. Experienced candidates should thrive in a collaborative, multi-discipline work setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform engineering analyses and deliver electrical designs
• Design layouts for electrical systems and substations
• Conduct vendor document reviews for accuracy
• Engage in power system studies and protective relay calculations
• Develop schematics and schedules for motor control systems
Requirements:
• Completed two-year college program in Engineering or relevant degree
• Over 5 years of skilled experience in electrical design
• Familiarity with procurement and classification processes
• Ability to make defined day-to-day decisions
• Strong knowledge of electrical regulations and standards
