The City of Thunder Bay seeks a full-time Municipal Law Enforcement Officer III. In this role, enforce local by-laws covering traffic, parking, and animal control. Reporting to the Supervisor – Municipal Enforcement Services, you will execute responsibilities pertaining to the application and enforcement of various Municipal regulations.

This position does not include property standards enforcement as per the Building Code Act. Your expertise will ensure adherence to Provincial statutes and contribute significantly to community well-being. Key Responsibilities:

- Apply traffic, parking, and animal control regulations
- Collaborate on Municipal enforcement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with local and Provincial laws
- Assist in maintaining community order and safety
- Reporting and documentation of enforcement actions Requirements:
- Background in Municipal law enforcement
- Proficient knowledge of Provincial statutes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid analytical and decision-making capabilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team Play a vital role in maintaining compliance and safety within the community of Thunder Bay.
