Acting as the core technology backbone for organizations across healthcare, finance, legal, and other compliance-heavy sectors, they deliver proactive, high-level IT solutions and a dedicated security practice to businesses across the region.

Role Overview

We are seeking a senior-level Tier 3 Security & Microsoft 365 Specialist who treats cybersecurity as their primary craft. Beyond standard administration, this role focuses on tenant hardening, proactive risk remediation, and leading active security incident responses. The ideal candidate blends deep M365 architecture expertise with top-tier client communication, serving as a calm, authoritative presence for non-technical business owners during high-stakes events.

Main Responsibilities

- Architect & Harden M365 Tenants: Configure, maintain, and audit Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Defender, and Purview; design Conditional Access and zero-trust identity governance strategies.
- Incident Response & Management: Lead security incident response end-to-end (triage, containment, root-cause investigation via Defender/Purview logs, remediation, and coordination with legal or cyber insurance entities).
- Security Tooling & Frameworks: Manage EDR/MDR platforms, execute phishing simulations, enforce MFA, and map technical controls to recognized frameworks like NIST CSF 2.0 and CIS Controls.
- Client Relations & Leadership: Translate complex security events into plain language for executives and business owners,



serve as the senior technical escalation point for L1/L2 teams, and maintain detailed documentation within the PSA/RMM toolchain.

Must Haves

- 5+ years in a senior/Level 3 technical engineering role within an MSP environment .
- 3+ years of deep, hands-on administration experience across the Microsoft 365 suite (Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, Defender, Purview).
- Proven track record in Cybersecurity & Incident Response (active incident handling, tenant hardening, and security operations).
- Robust, jargon-free client-facing communication skills with the ability to maintain composure during high-pressure security incidents.
- Strong PowerShell scripting capabilities for tenant-wide automation and deployment.

Nice to Haves

- Active or pursuing relevant certifications: MS-102, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400, or Security+.
- Hands-on experience managing multi-tenant environments and delegated administration setups.
- Direct experience running security awareness platforms and managing third-party EDR/MDR solutions.

Key Details & Benefits

- Salary Range: $90,000 – $110,000 base salary (commensurate with experience).
- Work Model: Hybrid (3 days in-office per week in Winnipeg, MB).
