Responsibilities
- Perform tire replacements, rotations, balancing, and repairs with precision and efficiency
- Conduct oil changes and fluid top-offs using appropriate tools and techniques
- Assist with basic vehicle inspections to identify potential mechanical issues
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete maintenance tasks
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and answering questions
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized work area adhering to safety standards
- Support sales efforts by recommending additional services or products when appropriate
Requirements
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience would be an asset but not necessary
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, tires, and lubricants is essential
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance procedures
- Ability to lift heavy tires or equipment repeatedly throughout the shift
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow safety protocols diligently
- Basic understanding of automotive repair processes; ongoing training will be provided
