In this role, you will work independently to manage and respond to highway incidents, including accidents and emergencies, while ensuring safety. Your effective communication skills and decision-making abilities will support police and emergency teams in incident management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a liaison between emergency responders and traffic control
• Communicate updates through 2-way radio and telephone
• Complete incident reports accurately
• Coordinate detours during road closures
• Conduct follow-through investigations on accidents
Requirements:
• High School Diploma required
• Minimum 2 years in highway maintenance or incident management
• Valid Class DZ driver’s license with a clean record
• OTM BOOK 7 certification necessary
• Proficient computer skills
