Lead the way in fostering workplace inclusivity at the University of Toronto as a Disability & Accommodation Consultant. Your expertise will empower employees with disabilities and enhance overall organizational health. This full time role involves managing complex disability cases and providing critical accommodation services.

You'll be integral to developing strategies that assist staff and faculty during their return-to-work process while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and university policies. Your interaction with both colleagues and external service providers will be essential in creating supportive work settings. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage sick leave and long-term disability cases
Collaborate with HR on accommodation procedures




Train staff on disability management best practices
Guide the development of inclusive workplace policies
Support employees in understanding their rights and resources Requirements:
Degree in a relevant field with certification preferred
At least five years of relevant experience
Proficient in mediation and relationship management
Familiarity with HR policies and accommodation practices
Knowledge of ergonomic principles a plus Leverage your skills in relationship building and disability management to champion equity and diversity at the University of Toronto.
