Join Elk Valley Resources as a Supervisor for Road and Spoils management, focusing on safety in autonomous haulage. This position requires strong leadership in an in office role in British Columbia.
As a vital part of the operations team, the Supervisor will be responsible for dump management, ensuring high safety and efficiency standards. Successful candidates will display excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. This role features a 4x4 rotation of days and nights, subject to operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead safety and efficiency in all dump operations
• Verify and set up visual monitoring systems; analyze performance data
• Collaborate with AHS and Pit Supervisors for operational enhancements
• Manage risks and conditions within the Autonomous Operating Zone
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance and safety
Requirements:
• Two years of experience in open pit mining
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite® applications
• Advantages for candidates with autonomous haulage exposure
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License or equivalent
