Columbia Basin Trust is hiring a Senior Reliability Engineer - Electrical to ensure reliable operations of hydroelectric systems in Castlegar. Bring your expertise to support cost-effective energy solutions.
This permanent, full time role focuses on delivering technical leadership and managing maintenance strategies for hydroelectric assets. You’ll work on root cause investigations and manage projects aimed at improving equipment reliability. Your role will significantly impact the Trust's operational success and compliance with engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop Reliability Centered Maintenance programs for assets
• Lead project management from cost estimation to execution
• Ensure engineering compliance with regulatory standards
• Conduct root cause and incident analyses
• Improve engineering practices and documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• P.Eng. designation with Engineers and Geoscientists BC
• 7 years of relevant engineering experience required
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
• Strong skills in engineering computer applications
