Stantec is looking for an Automation Engineer to enhance our Energy and Resources consulting team. Focus on designing cutting-edge control systems in diverse sectors such as oil and gas, and mining.

Join Stantec as an Instrumentation & Controls/Industrial Automation Engineer and strengthen your consulting capabilities. This role is perfect for engineers prepared to contribute to multi-disciplinary project development and execution across North America. Candidates will collaborate with a team to support design processes from start to finish, making meaningful impacts on energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide engineering support for complex projects
• Manage and develop I&C; drawing deliverables




• Create specifications for PLC/DCS/HMI/SCADA systems
• Design facility industrial networks
• Coordinate project activities and support construction

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 5-10 years of relevant experience
• Professional Engineering license attainable
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities
• Willingness to travel occasionally for site work
