With your extensive experience, you will set strategies to ensure protected, reliable operations within the automation framework while optimizing processes in collaboration with engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design control philosophies and functional specifications
• Ensure configurations comply with safety standards
• Collaborate with engineers on control strategies
• Support FATs, SATs, and commissioning tasks
• Troubleshoot automation issues during operations
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 15+ years of industrial automation experience
• P.Eng. or P.Tech. registration is an asset
• Expertise in DCS/PLC configuration methods
• Knowledge of process safety and control standards
