Work Authorization: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of application and throughout employment. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Relocation: No relocation assistance is available. Candidates are expected to reside within commuting distance of the position location, or relocate at their own expense.
Salary Range: The base salary compensation range for this position is $115,000- $135,000 plus bonus and benefits.

Job Purpose: The Demand Planning Manager will own the Canada demand plan for an agreed portfolio and planning horizon, translating commercial and market insights into a credible, consensus forecast that enables strong service,
inventory, and financial outcomes. A key component of this role is supporting and accelerating the implementation of Hale's global IBP within Canada/North America, embedding new governance, ways of working, and planning discipline to drive alignment across Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities: This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
Own the end-to-end demand planning cycle for Canada, delivering an accurate forecast across short, mid, and long-range horizons.
Build and maintain a robust baseline forecast and incorporate demand drivers (promotions, launches, distribution changes, pricing actions, seasonality, customer events).
Lead forecast updates with clear documentation of assumptions, risks, and opportunities; ensure stakeholders understand key changes.
Manage and run demand governance meetings in line with Hale's global IBP model (e.g., Demand Review preparation, pre-DRM...etc)
Partner with Commercial/Sales, Marketing/Category, Finance, Customer Service, and Supply Planning to achieve a single aligned forecast.
Partner with Marketing/Category, Supply and Sales to ensure NPI/Launch readiness from a demand perspective (timelines, Pipe volume, cannibalization, and risk/opportunity assessment).
Own demand-related aspects of product lifecycle management, including phase-in/phase-out planning, substitutions, delistings, and end-of-life forecasting to minimize obsolescence and protect service.
Define, track, and continuously improve demand planning performance (e.g., Forecast Accuracy, Bias, Forecast Value Add).
Lead variance analysis vs. actuals and prior forecast; translate results into clear root causes and corrective actions.
Responsible to build and monitor the right key performance indicators.
Proactively flag risks to service or inventory and recommend mitigation plans.
Why you? Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree.
3-5 years' experience in demand/supply planning.
Experience handling forecast of large number of SKUs/Items.
Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in supply chain, logistics, supply management, demand management or operational management.
Experience with ERP system and other forecasting tools like APO, O9 or SAP IBP.
Organizational skills with excellent attention to details.
