GFL Environmental is seeking a part time Transfer Station Attendant in Red Deer County, AB, to facilitate site operations every Thursday and Saturday. Handle customer transactions and oversee waste management effectively.

As part of TEAM GREEN, you will play an essential role in maintaining daily operations at the transfer station. Responsibilities include inspecting incoming loads, managing traffic, and collecting fees while ensuring safety standards. This position emphasizes independent work and requires effective time management to succeed in handling equipment and customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Open and close facility; perform safety checks
• Inspect incoming waste vehicles and manage traffic flow
• Accurately process disposal fees and manage cash




• Operate skid steer for waste consolidation and loading
• Carry out routine site maintenance and safety tasks

Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of heavy equipment experience
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required
• Strong autonomous work ethic and time management skills
• Basic math skills for fee computations
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. outdoors
