NHS GGC is searching for a dedicated Consultant to enhance its vascular surgical team. Situated primarily in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, this role includes a combination of surgical service delivery and medical education with a focus on continuous training for junior hospital staff. You will contribute to specialized vascular services addressing a significant community need and take part in the On Call rota.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive vascular surgical services and emergency support
• Operate in purpose-built hybrid and interventional theatres
• Oversee outpatient clinics and surgical day activities
• Collaborate on training programs for junior medical staff
• Participate in the NHS National Vascular Registry
Requirements:
• Current GMC registration and Specialist Register eligibility
• Demonstrable experience in vascular surgery training
