Reporting to the Software Engineering Centre of Excellence Lead, you will guide application development teams in implementing effective backend practices. Your expertise in AI-assisted engineering will enhance coding standards and quality across microservices. You will also mentor engineers, contribute to compliance initiatives, and optimize developer productivity through modern tooling integration.

Key Responsibilities:
• Define and enforce Java/Kotlin coding standards and architectural guidelines
• Document and manage engineering standards as a single source of truth




• Lead the implementation of code quality and compliance initiatives
• Recommend tools and frameworks for improved backend consistency
• Provide insights on AI adoption guidelines for backend engineering

Requirements:
• 6+ years of software engineering experience
• Robust knowledge of Git workflows and CI/CD practices
• Proven ability to define and implement standards
• Experience with modern developer tooling, like SonarQube
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
