Cenovus is hiring a Senior Health and Safety Advisor to lead safety initiatives at our Oil Sands Operations, ensuring high performance and injury prevention. This is a full-time, rotational position with travel requirements.

In this crucial role, you'll implement best practices in health and safety across various sites, including Foster Creek and Christina Lake North. Your wealth of experience in the Oil and Gas industry will allow you to support H&S; programs while maintaining comprehensive safety management systems. Engaging with site leadership, you will develop strategic actions for continuous improvement in safety metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with OHS legislation and standards
• Assist in creating annual assurance plans for sites




• Develop safety action plans and implement improvements
• Lead metrics dashboard development and reporting
• Support staff in data accuracy and safety trends

Requirements:
• Minimum 8 years in Oil and Gas, focusing on H&S;
• Certification as a Safety Skilled is a plus
• Proven experience in safety management systems
• Maintain a valid Class 5 license with a good record
• Pass required medical and drug tests
