In this permanent position within the OT Infrastructure team, you will manage telecom systems that directly impact grid operations. You will work alongside various teams to ensure design, implementation, and effective management of tele-protection infrastructure. Your engineering background coupled with experience in the field is crucial for operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor telecommunications equipment changes and status
• Collaborate with contractors to enhance service delivery
• Maintain telecom engineering diagrams for substations
• Facilitate outage impact assessments
• Support teams with fibre outage evaluations
Requirements:
• At least 5 years relevant experience in power or telecom
• Solid understanding of tele-protection standards
• Skilled in IP/MPLS routing and traffic engineering
• Experience in GIS tools for network resilience
• APEGA Registered Professional Engineer
