Contribute to the annual Point-in-Time Count as an Assistant with the Brandon Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation (BNRC) in Manitoba. Support community outreach and volunteer coordination while assisting in eight diverse communities.
The BNRC is looking for a reliable Point-in-Time Count Assistant for an 11-week term, starting mid-September. In this role, you’ll help with event logistics and administrative tasks while coordinating with volunteers across various communities. Your contributions will enrich the local understanding of homelessness and community services through active engagement and support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning and coordinating the Point-in-Time Count activities
• Travel to rural communities for meetings and local planning
• Organize, recruit,
and communicate with volunteers
• Coordinate schedules, training sessions, and logistics
• Provide administrative support including data entry and document preparation
Requirements:
• Robust organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
