In this full-time position, your responsibilities include assessing residents and creating therapeutic plans aimed at fostering independence and comfort. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, you'll ensure that resident health is prioritized and maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess residents for functional capabilities and needs
• Craft detailed treatment plans collaboratively
• Ensure residents' involvement in their therapeutic activities
• Continually evaluate resident progress and adjust plans
• Maintain thorough documentation of therapy services
Requirements:
• Registered with provincial regulatory body
• Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent required
• Preferred experience in geriatric care
• Solid organizational and communication skills
• Must obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check if not current
