The Opportunity: Senior Director, Value, Access & Pricing – Canada
Reporting to the Vice-President & General Manager (GM) Canada, this role will serve as the head of Value, Access and Pricing in Canada. In collaboration with the Canadian Leadership Team and working closely with Global teams, the incumbent will lead the development and execution of the value, access, and pricing strategy to support the successful introduction of the Company and its portfolio in Canada. The role will contribute to pre-launch and launch strategic and operational planning, establish Canadian market access processes and policies, collaborate with key stakeholders on market access and pricing plans, and support the timely and successful launch of the Company’s oncology portfolio. The incumbent will be accountable, in partnership with Global teams, for defining and advancing value, access, and pricing strategies for the Company’s oncology assets in Canada. This role serves as the strategic market access leader for Canada, ensuring payer, HTA, pricing, reimbursement, and evidence-generation considerations are incorporated into development, launch, and commercialization decisions.

This role is a key member of the Canadian Leadership Team and will work collaboratively across functions to successfully establish the company and launch its portfolio in Canada. The position requires a strategic, collaborative leader with strong business and operational capabilities and the ability to work cross-functionally in support of the company’s growth and long-term success.

The role partners closely with Clinical Development, HEOR, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Commercial, Finance, Regional teams,



and the broader cross-functional organization to ensure Canadian access priorities are aligned with Global and Regional strategies.

Responsibilities

Define and lead the value, access, and pricing strategy for the Company’s oncology assets in Canada, with support from Global teams, across the product lifecycle, ensuring alignment with portfolio objectives, long-term asset value, and sustainable patient access.

Provide market access leadership and input into decisions related to clinical development, evidence generation, indication sequencing, lifecycle management, and key investment decisions in Canada.

Anticipate and evaluate Canadian market access risks and opportunities, including competitive dynamics, evolving payer expectations, HTA requirements, healthcare policy changes, and reimbursement considerations, translating these insights into clear strategic recommendations.

Partner across Global and Regional functions to ensure Canadian market access considerations are incorporated into development, launch, commercialization, and lifecycle planning.

Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on pricing, reimbursement, launch readiness, lifecycle management, portfolio prioritization, and business development opportunities.

Skills, Experience and Education





Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, MBA, MPH, MSc, or equivalent) preferred.

10+ years of progressive experience in market access, pricing, HEOR, commercial strategy, or related functions within the biopharmaceutical industry.

Deep expertise in Canadian pricing, reimbursement, and market access, combined with strong oncology experience and a thorough understanding of Canadian payer systems, HTA processes, and evolving reimbursement frameworks.

Demonstrated success influencing clinical development, evidence generation, launch planning, and commercialization strategies to support successful payer, HTA, and reimbursement outcomes.

Proven ability to shape strategy, influence senior leadership, and build cross-functional alignment within complex, matrixed organizations.

Strong strategic, analytical, and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to assess complex business and market access challenges and translate them into clear, actionable recommendations.

Preferred Skills

Experience across relevant solid tumor areas, precision oncology, and/or biomarker-driven therapies.

Understanding of companion diagnostic reimbursement, biomarker testing, and patient access considerations within the Canadian healthcare system.

Familiarity with emerging international healthcare policy, HTA, and pricing reforms and their potential implications for Canadian and Global market access strategies.

Experience working within a clinical-stage, pre-commercial, start-up, or rapidly growing biotechnology workplace.
