Enhance employee wellbeing as a Disability & Accommodation Consultant at the University of Toronto. This role focuses on employee support regarding sick leave and long-term disability accommodations within a collaborative environment.

You will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of disability-related cases, offering advice to HR, and supporting faculty and staff through their accommodation needs. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in establishing a supportive and equitable workplace, aligning practices with current guidelines and HR policies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of sick leave and LTD cases
• Provide tailored accommodation services for employees
• Advise on HR policies and procedures for accommodations




• Monitor compliance with relevant legislation
• Conduct training for departments on accommodation needs

Requirements:
• University degree in health sciences; certification preferred
• Five years of experience in related roles
• Solid interpersonal and listening skills
• Knowledge of accommodation practices and policies
• Problem-solving skills and ability to handle sensitive situations

Support the well-being and inclusivity of the University community while utilizing your knowledge of disability management and employee relations.
