Serve as an Environmental Health Public Inspector for the Saskatchewan Health Authority in Meadow Lake. This full time position involves essential inspections and monitoring of public health compliance services.

As a Public Health Inspector, you will report to the Manager of Environmental Protection Services and address public health issues in various settings such as public eateries and recreational facilities. A Bachelor’s in Environmental Health and relevant certifications are required. You will be responsible for ensuring public water and sewage systems meet safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor public facilities for health compliance
• Conduct inspections and compliance checks
• Investigate complaints regarding tobacco control
• Assess public water systems and sewage disposal
• Communicate findings and improvements needed

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health
• Public Health Inspector certification (CPHI(C))
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Class 5 driver’s license necessary
• Willingness to travel as required
