BCIT is seeking a dedicated part time faculty member for its 3D Modeling, Art, and Animation program. Mentor and guide students through their demo reel capstone project. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students at BCIT's School of Business + Media.

With a focus on demo reel production, you will utilize your extensive industry experience to help students navigate the complexities of their projects. This temporary position emphasizes quality instruction, collaboration, and student mentorship in the 3D animation field. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and deliver effective 3D modeling and animation instruction
Provide constructive feedback and assessments on projects
Guide students through the demo reel development process
Collaborate with other faculty for course improvements
Create a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere Requirements:
Degree in 3D Animation or equivalent industry experience
At least five years of skilled production experience
Knowledge of current 3D workflows and technologies
Experience in teaching or mentorship highly regarded
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills Foster artistic talent and engage with aspiring 3D specialists at BCIT.
