Become a part-time History Instructor at Langara College in Vancouver. Teach HIST 1116 focused on Colonies and Conflict while sharing your knowledge of Pre-Confederation Canadian history with students.

This position at Langara offers the opportunity to engage students with critical historical perspectives. Candidates must hold a Master's or PhD in History, along with teaching or research experience. You will work collaboratively within the Department of History, Latin, and Political Science while delivering engaging coursework to inspire student learning.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct classes for HIST 1116 on Mon/Wed afternoons
• Stay informed about contemporary issues in history
• Hold office hours for student support




• Engage with departmental colleagues for course development
• Enhance student learning experiences through creative teaching

Requirements:
• Master's or PhD in History required
• Significant teaching experience in relevant subjects
• Must be available Mon/Wed from 2:30-4:20 pm
• Commitment to fostering student engagement
• Resident of BC or willingness to relocate
