Overview The Drumheller & District Chamber of Commerce is seeking a customer service focused employee to serve visitors and customers at the World’s Largest Dinosaur, Giftshop and Visitor Information Centre. Tourism Services Representatives will welcome and help create positive experiences for visitors to our community.

Responsibilities

- Day-to-day operational duties in Giftshop including customer service, till operations, cash handling and merchandising
- Greet visitors and provide accurate information about local attractions, accommodations, dining, events, and services
- Maintain tourism literature and accommodation board
- Track of visitor demographics
- Daily janitorial duties associated with the building, as well as grounds surrounding the World's Largest Dinosaur and Visitor Information Centre

Qualifications

- Exceptional customer service skills
- Cash handling experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced environment
- Computer skills and willingness to learn recent computer applications
- Detail oriented




- Knowledge of tourism within Drumheller and area
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs

Assets

- First aid certification
- Second language
- A background in hospitality or tourism-related fields will support your success in this energetic role

Term

- Full time permanent, to start as soon as possible
