Join our dynamic construction team as a full-time Traffic Control Person (TCP), where you will play a vital role in ensuring safety and smooth traffic flow at construction sites. As a TCP, you will be responsible for directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, maintaining safety protocols, and supporting paving and heavy equipment operations. Duties

- Set up and maintain traffic control devices such as signs, cones, barriers, and flagging equipment to guide vehicles and pedestrians safely around construction zones
- Direct traffic flow according to established plans, ensuring safety for workers, drivers, and pedestrians
- Communicate clearly with construction crews, drivers, and pedestrians to provide instructions and updates
- Assist with the operation of heavy equipment when necessary, following all safety procedures
- Support paving activities by coordinating vehicle movements and ensuring proper site access
- Conduct routine inspections of traffic control setups to ensure compliance with safety standards and make adjustments as needed




- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and safety checks to ensure documentation is complete and up-to-date

Qualifications

- Prior experience in construction or traffic control roles is highly preferred
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is a strong advantage
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high energy levels
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and the public
- Valid certifications in traffic control or flagging are a plus; willingness to obtain necessary certifications if not already held
- Experience with paving or general construction projects is beneficial but not mandatory
- Commitment to following safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure work environment
