Transcriptionist – Lifemark Sunridge

Location: 2121 29th Street NE, Calgary, AB, T1Y 7H8

Status: Temporary Contract - ending February 2027, approximately 25 hours per week

As Canada’s largest physiotherapy company, Lifemark is passionate about enriching the health of Canadians through movement. We are seeking a Medical Transcriptionist who shares this same philosophy.

Our Medical Transcriptionists work independently but are also part of a team environment transcribing reports for WCB, VA, specialists, etc. Our Transcription Services Department staff all work remotely.

Your Day-to-Day

- Transcribe audio files into prepared templates using DocShuttle typist software
- QA reports
- Fill out timesheets for payroll

Qualifications & Core Competencies:

- High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
- Post secondary education in Medical Office Administration,



Transcription or related field considered an asset
- Computer/software knowledge
- Medical terminology and grammar
- Typing speed balanced with accuracy/speech recognition experience
- Required to be available during clinic hours anytime from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. MST
