Join the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario as a Policy Analyst. Your expertise in privacy and access will support significant public policy initiatives in a hybrid work model.

The IPC invites applications for a full-time Policy Analyst position, based in Toronto for a 12-month contract. You will engage with both the public and regulated sectors, conducting research, and advising on critical policy matters regarding privacy and transparency in government. Your work will directly influence Ontarians’ rights to information.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and report on privacy trends in Ontario
• Develop policy recommendations for access legislation
• Foster collaborations with various regulated entities




• Lead IPC initiatives and effectively manage projects
• Produce informative briefing materials and presentations

Requirements:
• Solid understanding of access and privacy in the public sector
• Demonstrated skills in relationship management
• Experience conducting comprehensive policy research
• High-level communication and presentation proficiencies
• Ability to manage deadlines and projects efficiently

Utilize your expertise in access and privacy to contribute toward enhancing Ontario’s public policies at the IPC.
