Mercer's Alternatives team is in search of a seasoned investment professional to lead and mentor the Alternatives Investment Directors. You will focus on developing creative investment strategies and client solutions involving various alternative assets. Your expertise will significantly influence the alternatives market across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive investment value propositions for alternative assets
• Manage and develop the Alternatives team effectively
• Serve as a key representative in Alternatives Committees
• Lead product development and Know-Your-Product efforts
• Collaborate on portfolio construction and multi-asset strategies
Requirements:
• BA/BS in finance; advanced certification preferred
• Minimum 15 years of experience in alternatives investing
• CFA and CAIA designations preferred
• Registration as a Canadian Portfolio Manager relevant
• Fluent in French and English for effective communication
