Become an essential part of VON in Brantford as a part time NSWOC Registered Nurse. Deliver specialized wound, ostomy, and continence care to improve the health of clients in the community.
As an NSWOC, you will leverage your clinical skills to conduct assessments and create personalized care strategies. This role takes place in homes and clinics, emphasizing teamwork and support for clients and fellow healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and manage wound and ostomy care effectively
• Collaborate on individualized health care plans
• Educate and empower clients through effective teaching
• Act as a resource for other staff and healthcare providers
• Engage in weekly team discussions for shared case insights
Requirements:
• Must hold an RN license in Ontario
• Certification from NSWOCC or equivalent programs
• Three years of relevant nursing experience preferred
• Demonstrated communication and assessment skills
• Ability to support health teaching initiatives
