As a key player in Rain Carbon's commitment to world-class operational safety, the Safety, Health & Environmental Engineer will manage safety programs essential for incident-free operations. The role requires engaging in regular visibility through inspections, implementing safety systems, and participating in critical health and safety committee meetings. You will promote a solid safety culture by managing training programs and developing effective safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement safety initiatives like “Quest for Zero”
• Conduct hazard identifications and support safety audits
• Prepare monthly safety performance reports with key metrics
• Ensure compliance with regulatory authority visits
• Maintain emergency evacuation plans and response protocols
Requirements:
• Community College diploma or related field minimum
• 5–10 years in Health & Safety or related roles
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree and/or professional designation
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Proficient in conflict resolution and problem-solving
