As a full-time clerk, you’ll support the Finance team in various clerical and financial tasks while assisting admitted patients. Your responsibilities include collecting insurance information, processing health card data, and liaising with other departments to ensure effective bed placement. Attention to detail and effective communication skills are vital in delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Meet patients and discuss preferred accommodations
• Collect and document financial information




• Liaise with finance and assist with billing concerns
• Support appropriate bed placements and transfers
• Track accommodation activity and resolve discrepancies

Requirements:
• Post secondary degree or diploma
• Minimum 3 years in accounts receivable/accounting
• Proficiency in Excel and hospital billing systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
