Shape the future of AgeTech as the Director of AgeTech LaunchPad at the University of Toronto Scarborough. This pivotal role involves strategic planning, partnership development, and research leadership in a flexible work setting.

You’ll play a crucial role in advancing the AgeTech LaunchPad under the Academic Co-Directors, contributing significantly to interdisciplinary research. By connecting various stakeholders, including industry, health systems, and academic researchers, you will facilitate collaborative efforts aimed at improving technologies for an aging population. Your leadership will further enhance Canada’s capacity to implement creative solutions for older adults.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead project planning with defined timelines and deliverables




• Identify and establish new collaboration opportunities
• Promote the University’s research capabilities to stakeholders
• Provide insights on funding programs for researchers
• Build and sustain networks for collaborative research

Requirements:
• Master’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 6-7 years in research practices
• In-depth knowledge of aging ecosystems
• Experience with older adult care
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
