Join the Urgent Response Services team as a Respite Support Worker at Lumenus Community Services. Support children and youth with autism in a fixed-term, community-focused role.

In this full-time position, you will work closely with clients experiencing significant needs, applying evidence-driven interventions. Your responsibilities will include assessing client strengths and needs, providing direct care, and working collaboratively within diverse settings to ensure safety and support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Generalize therapeutic interventions to client needs
• Provide supportive and validating interactions with clients
• Assess and track client progress through daily notes
• Engage in recreational activities to support individualized goals
• Maintain a safe and organized program workplace

Requirements:
• ECE, CYC, SSW, DSW Diploma or equivalent
• Experience with autism support in community settings
• Understanding of anti-oppression and anti-racism principles
• Ability to engage in physical activities with clients
• Transportation availability to travel across GTA sites
