Our nationally-recognized client in the downtown Ottawa area is looking for a Finance Administrator to join their organization on a one-year contract. This organization promotes collaboration within a positive work culture, paired with an industry-leading total compensation package.
Accounts Payables- processing vendor invoices including coding, data entry, and verification
Prepare payments according to schedule and manage urgent payments when required
Recording and reconciliation of petty cash
Process Accounts Receivable- applying payments and monitoring aging
Respond to vendor inquiries and complete follow-ups in a timely and skilled manner
Reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, resolving variances
Assist in processing of full-cycle payroll, including deductions and remittances, WSIB filings
Posting of Journal Entries & working closely with the General Ledger, adjustments as needed
Ensure compliance with internal policies
Work closely with members to answer any questions and resolve issues as required
Provide administrative support as required
About You
Post-secondary education in Business Administration (or equivalent)
2+ years of experience in full-cycle Accounting
Must have 1+ years of experience processing full-cycle payroll
Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking
Highly organized, strong attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter, collaborative
Strong oral and written communication skills
About the Job
The annual salary for this prospect is $55,000.00 to $57,000.00 depending on relevant experience. This role is eligible to access the organization’s total compensation package, which includes a myriad of industry-leading perks.
