In this pivotal role, you will manage comprehensive financial operations for the Lax Kw’alaams First Nation. You will develop and implement fiscal strategies closely aligned with community priorities, oversee compliance, and ensure accountability. This position requires collaboration with leadership to effectively allocate resources and drive economic development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of budgeting and financial planning
• Develop financial reporting frameworks for stakeholders
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies




• Support CAO in financial analysis and decision-making
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and legislation

Requirements:
• CPA required; CAFM is a plus
• At least five years in a senior financial role
• Proven experience with ISC and FNHA compliance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Indigenous financial practices is advantageous
